ABOUT THE AUTHOR

Melissa Burnett is a native Californian raised in Orange County until she moved North to attend The University of Southern California where she graduated with a BA in Psychology.  Her hobbies include anything Creative, watching her daughter perform, traveling and Poker!! Her favorite thing to do is spend time with her Family and Friends. She resides in Los Angeles with her Husband of 23 years, Brock, and her daughter Lexi. Their son Collton just recently married and lives in Texas. Melissa has been writing since High School and is currently working on several screen plays and a novel. 

As a Mom, Melissa was struggling to “cure” her daughter, Alexis, of her pacifier addiction, and to cure herself. Melissa was also addicted to using the pacifiers. Inspired to find a tear free result, together Melissa and her daughter Lexi, created the fable – The Paci Fairy.  Receiving emails and testimonials from parents/guardians saying how her book has "helped" or "changed their life", has been the most rewarding.

Melissa decided to expand the “The Paci Fairy” Family and added three new books. The Original "Paci Fairy" was well received but after some feedback, she learned that her book was a little complex for the toddler stage. 

"So I listened to the parents and responded to their request by writing "The Paci Fairy; Toddler Edition".  It was important to me to include ALL ages of children. Hopefully now with this selection the parents/guardians can choose what book relates to their child the most. It is important to me that every child has a good experience.”

Chrisann Zaubi's has a long career in the fashion industry, designing prints and patterns for major sportswear brands. Her number one passion is her family, who are at the forefront of her life purpose, second is illustration, which was her degree focus from the Columbus College of Art and Design. Along with her illustrated books.

Chrisannn loves designing original games under her business, Studio Zowbi. Tell tale tokens, Beguiling buttons, and the primero tarot deck are just a few of the products she has dreamed up.
